   With the aim of spreading Islam, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman established the Islamic Foundation on 22 March 1975 with an aim of spreading Islam. The 'Islamic Foundation' Act was enacted on 28 March 1975. Majority of Bangladesh Muslims Since ancient times, the country has been growing and practicing Islamic values and values. According to the Islamic Foundation's Act, its aims and objectives are as follows: To speed up the promotion and promotion of this upheaval of values and values of Islam.
(A) establishment and maintenance of mosques and Islamic centers, academies and institutes;

(K) To manage and improve Baitul Mukarram mosque and

Bangabandhu founded Islamic Foundation is now celebrated as one of the largest public bodies in the Muslim world. Head office of the Islamic Foundation Agargaon, in addition to Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, there are several divisional offices of the head office in the office of Baitul Mukarram. The organization has been implementing multi-pronged activities across the country through 17 centers, seven projects, one central library, eight divisional divisions, 64 district offices and 50 Islamic Mission Centers, seven Imams Training Academy centers in the field.
Board of Governors
Islamic Foundation is a body founded by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu - a statutory body under the Ministry of Religious Affairs. There is a Board of Governors consisting of Honorable Members of Parliament, eminent educationists, Islamic thinkers, and the highest administrative officers for determining, guiding, giving and receiving activities of the Foundation. Honorable Minister of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Chairman of the Board and member secretary of the respected Director General of the Islamic Foundation, Uttech Board.
organizational structure
The Chief Executive of the Islamic Foundation is the Director General. He was appointed by the government. He is the Chief Executive of the Islamic Foundation. The responsibility of implementing the decisions of the Board of Governors is entrusted to him. There are 1 secret secretary, 17 directors, 1 supervisor and 7 project guides to assist him in carrying out the work. Each of them is the head of a department / project.
Human resource
At present, 84,233 employees including 2311 officers and employees of the Islamic Foundation's Revenue and Development sector and 71,185 on the basis of honor / allowance are working.
Fund
The source of funds of the Islamic Foundation is the grants received from the government of Bangladesh, income from loans received from foreign countries or organizations, donations and grants, investment, royalty and property.
